After I tidied up the story, I had Carrie look at it and tidied it up some more before I put it up for critique this evening. The working title is Garden of Zen, but that'll probably change before too long.

Tonight I wrote a 425 word opening to a war story for a similarly-themed anthology. I'm not sure if it'll go anywhere, but it's certainly an interesting experiment. It has a cast of outlandish characters and plenty of slang, and I'm hoping it will be a little different to your typical war yarn. We shall see ;)
