I had planned on observing Mars, but by the time I went out it was partially concealed by the big tree in our backyard. I did spot an interesting star formation nearby that I'd seen before, though. Turns out it was actually the Messier object M45, also known as the Pleiades Cluster, or the Seven Sisters. You learn something new every day ;) I decided that before I did any writing, I would sit down and try to figure out the Halloween story. I finally outlined the rest, with Carrie's help, and it seems like it'll be quite a chilling tale when I'm finished. After writing down my notes for that, I decided I'd whip up something quickly to meet the quota, rather than spending all night on finishing the Halloween tale off, as is my tendency when I have things neatly outlined. I've got a fair bit planned for tomorrow, so I'd like to get up at a reasonable hour. I wrote a quick 327 words about an interviewer coming to inspect the unusual gallery of a famous art collector. I have some vague ideas as to how I could continue it, but those will have to wait for another time. I imagine I'll get to that around the same time I revisit all the other story openings I've accumulated. Or not :) Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
