With minutes remaining in 2005, I thought I'd jot down a few 2006 resolutions here:

1. Write more - setting specific targets doesn't seem to work so well, but if I aim to do better than previous years, I can't lose ;) I really want to write a lot of stories this year and I'm more determined than ever to get published in 2006.

2. Read more - continuing on from last year. There are an awful lot of books on the shelves around here, and I have an unfortunate compulsion (or dare I say it, enjoyment) to obtain more. Here's hoping I can do more reading in the forthcoming year!

3. Enjoy oil painting - although I'd like to start painting masterpieces sooner rather than later, that ain't going to happen :) All I can do is have fun with it and explore the art. Possibly pursue night classes at a local community college. Who knows, I may paint a few pretty decent things in 2006?
