Sue Rowland's Obituary

Just heard about the passing of yet another wonderful cyber-friend, Sue Rowland, of Slidell, LA.

Even though we knew it might be coming, her passing on the 15th of February is sad news. When she stopped posting her daily blog entries last year, we all guessed something was going on, and come to find out Sue had Alzheimer's.

Her blog, "My Incredibly Unremarkable Life" at JournalScape was a joy to find most every day in my mailbox. I admire a person who can do a daily blog, making even small mundane events of a life seem interesting and blog-worthy. And that Sue did, very well.

She lived an incredibly skilled life and was a generous person, always going in to give blood on a regular basis, and volunteering in her duties as archivist. I learned more things about Sue from her obituary linked above here, and I encourage you to go there and read it if you were also acquainted with her online as I was.

Sue was a friend to another JournalScape blogger, Sarah "Rhubarb" Smith, who also passed on last year. The two of those women equaled an immense intelligence and I am grateful to have gotten to know even a little about their lives here online.

We'll miss you Sue!

In memory of a very special lady,

Bex, Paul & Co.
Salem, MA

It's in every one of us to be wise;
Find your heart, open up both your eyes.
We can all know every thing without ever knowing why.
It's in every one of us, by and bye.
