2014-04-13 8:30 AM Shout-Out Sunday No. 15 - Hillbilly Housewife Good Sunday morning to you!
The Sunday Shout-Out web site for today, 13 April 2014 is: In particular, check out this page of hers: Oh yeah. I love cinnamon rolls. I almost never have any mainly because I don't go out shopping (or else I'd have them here all the time) and have to depend on Paul to do the food shopping. I will hesitate to put this type of thing on the shopping list when he's doing the shopping. That said, I would like to have an easy recipe for these babies, and this recipe seems to have all the ingredients that I have right here on hand. When I stumbled onto this Hillbilly Housewife's site the other day, I was pleasantly surprised at how versatile it was. She has lots of tips on FRUGAL LIVING, which I appreciate. So go have a look round. Sniff out her frugal tips pages, and really, her recipes are downright easy to make and look delicious. There's this recipe that I thought was excellent as I use hamburger buns occasionally when making my homemade cheeseburgers: (Her husband is Fred. And what a good idea to make your own hamburger buns! No preservatives or chemicals here.) Oh, and one more recipe I saw, and it may not be the most exotic recipe you've ever seen, but it looked good to me because I am a big cheeseburger fan: I mean, c'mon! Cheeseburger and Fries Casserole? What could be yummier? I know, I know. My cravings do not run in the "healthy foods" categories at all but now and then... it's worth a shot to see what it's like. So there you have it. A simple little site by someone who has done a nice job preparing her pages and offering the rest of us things that are good to know. I haven't actually looked through ALL her pages yet, but I plan to go back there now and check out some more of them. This year's Boston Marathon will be run Cheers, Bex & Co. Find your heart, open up both your eyes. We can all know every thing without ever knowing why. It's in every one of us, by and bye. ~ John Denver & The Muppets ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ 2003 - Present Archives at Diaryland Read/Post Comments (3) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
