2004-03-02 6:06 PM Back to the piano lessons Not much interesting to report in my regular boring life. Of course, work is anything but boring. I have trials every day for the next week. All of the issues are fascinating but I can't talk about them here.
Been fiddling with this piano software I have a bit more. I got it in May of last year, worked with it for about a month and then lost interest. My interest came back a few weeks ago and I've been slowly making progress. Learing rhythm is pretty hard. This program has a metronome that helps keep the beat and after each line of a song it rates your rhythmic performance. I think the basics are pretty hard to get and then it gets easier (hopefully) until you starting having to use both hands. I'll probably loose interest again and then pick it up later. At this rate I'll be able to do chopsticks when I'm sixty, but that's ok; it's all about enjoying myself. Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
