The frightening consequences of electroshock therapy

I'm a middle aged government attorney living in a rural section of the northeast U.S. I'm unmarried and come from a very large family. When not preoccupied with family and my job, I read enormous amounts, toy with evolutionary theory, and scratch various parts on my body.

This journal is filled with an enormous number of half-truths and outright lies, including this sentence.

Good deeds - musical interlude

My adapation of Ray Steven's song 'Everything is Beautiful'

Everything is your fault, in its' own way
You may think you have.. nothing to do...
with it, but I know that's not true
Everything is your fault in it's own way
everything that bad's about
my life's because of you.

Other than the first line and it's repeat, I'm not certain that any of the music lines up quite right with the original song. I think the last time I heard the song was in the 70s. A quick hunt over the internet came up with this refrain:
Everything is beautiful in its' own way,
Like a starry summer night
or a snow covered winter's day.
Everybody's beautiful in their own way,
Under God's heaven, the world's gonna find a way.

I like my version better. Sometimes if my mood is right I sing it like this instead:

Everything is my fault, in it's own way
If your life's screwed up or bad
It's all because of me.
Everything is my fault, in it's own way
If you're looking for someone to blame,
I'm the one, yes me
