Somewhere in the middle of these I got a position with a solo practitioner, but I had some serious concerns about his ethics that a lot of other local attorneys cued me in on, and I quit after one month.

Although that was bad, my low point was when I went on a one week trip for the retail inventory place, and while I was away I got offered a government position as an attorney. They wanted me to get back to them before the end of the week and I did not receive the notice until after the week was through. It was another year before I got another offer.
