2005-11-10 1:40 AM Tree geekdom revealed I was in the bank the other day, and in passing I noticed they had these vines with what looked like maple leaves attached to them. So because I'm a tree geek, I take a closer look. Then I notice that they have these round berries attached to them, and I think to myself "Geez, what idiots" and for some reason I got really irritated. Maples have winged seeds, not berries. I thought, "Don't these people even bother to check before making their product?"
Then I got back to the office and realized that there were vines creeping on the brick walls outside the building, and that the vines had leaves that looked like maple leaves on them. A closer inspection revealed that the vines also had berries. Thus is the extent of my tree geekdom revealed. Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
