What sucks and what rocks (and maybe what sucks on rocks) in Cheesehead's world today?

SUCKS:

The price of gasoline--this girl was meant to go, go, go --and the going is getting expensive!

The road construction right ouside my back door. Can't there be any quiet country roads anymore??

Feeling like I can't just lose those 40 pounds that would make my knees feel oh, so much better.

ROCKS:

Sitting on my back porch after the construction machines have gone quiet for the evening, reading a book.

Independent bookstores.

Discovering new music. Well, new to me anyway.

Getting my computer speakers plugged in the right hole, thereby eliminating the crackling noise everytime I try to listen to new music.

Getting a sample of a great new face-spackle in the mail.

Tuna melts.

Iced mocha.

Discovering a new indie coffee shop. (Which sells iced mocha and tuna melts, of course!)

Study leave.

Guest preachers.

There you have it: the 'rocks' list far outlasts the 'sucks' list for today. What sucks/rocks for you?
