Because once in a while, you just need some AC/DC.

"Please name five deeds you have performed unwillingly, half-heartedly, resentfully or inadequately. Feel free to interpret the word “deeds” as loosely as suits you."

1. We have our family television downstairs in our swanky finished basement. The TV has a DVR, which I love. But, in order to use the DVR requires using two remotes. Yes, they can put a man on the moon, but they cannot invent a television that can be used with a truly "universal" remote. My dirty deed is having to find the remote(s), every time I want to watch my digital recordings of ER, CSI, Survivor, etc. because the children (18 and 15, mind you) in my house seem to drop them behind/under/between-the-cushions-of the couch every time they use them. No, I can't figure out why this happens either. I'm very ungracious about this, bordering on bitter.

2. Turning off lights that are on *in empty rooms* of my house. Again, with the bitterness. I do this a minimum of six or seven times a day.

3. Figuring my mileage reimbursement each month. This is a job I simply procrastinate. I'm just not very good at it, that's all.

4. Cleaning the refrigerator. I have watched as my OEH will pull a Tupperware container out of the fridge, open it up, get a horrified look in his face, then put the container back in the fridge for me to take care of. This just about makes me lose my religion. Cleanliness fueled by rage is not as satisfying as it looks.

5. Being in charge of the mail. I don't know why this bugs me so much, but after I carefully lay out everyone's sorted pile on the kitchen counter, it will sit there for days. Secretly, sometimes if it does not get picked up in two days, I just toss it. I'm terrible.
