*Finally* getting everything together for the trip. Picked up fundage on Friday afternoon, did laundry. Made sure I have all of Helen's leftover stuff for the return trip. Still no word about whether or not I'll be dragging Kilgyore along. On the one hand, I like the idea of doing the drive by myself. I'll be free, relaxed, and open to doing whatever I want along the way. Alternatively, bringing him cuts the upward cost by half. Considering what gas prices are doing right now, that'd be real nice.

With the exception of Thursday, the pastweek has looked more or less how I expected. Didn't end up hitting Perversion that night, 'cause I just wasn't in the mood to deal with it; shot more Alias into my veins instead. Thea and I are still a few episodes behind, though I suppose that doesn't matter so much since I'll be watching the last bit by myself by the time I get back. Wednesday was the potluck thing. Much goodness there. Yummy food, strange people, and stranger cats.
Friday, did the party thing at D-Man's new digs in NoHo. If you weren't there, you fuckin' missed out on some shit an' yer all losers!
Saturday, did a friendly V-day thing. Caught Spinner's SNL crew in action again. Afterwards, watched Gigli and Party Monster. Despite being more or less funny where it was supposed to be, Gigli was bad and should never have been made. Party Monster was just weird; Seth Green as one of the gayest transvestite club kids you've ever seen took a while to get used to, while MacCauley Culkin was instantly believeable in a similar role.
As stated, I was incommunicado on Sunday.

Monday...I'll be sleeping very very late. Notice the time I'm posting this. I've no interest in any phone call within the next twelve hours that does not relate directly to my upcoming road trip.

Got my VCR (re)set and I'll probably have to buy another tape and leave instructions for switching out for next week so I don't miss the crack that is WWE programming. Also need to remember to bring enough books so I can handle the quiet moments, but not so many that I feel foolish.

Got my head shaved. Have, in fact, more hair on my face than on my head. Much happier, now, even if it looks a little odd.
