Just started the day off the right way, practically fell out my chair laughing! Remember when I wrote about my online dating journey? Well, the person I met has become such a great friend in a short time - now that I got past that stupid part of wanting to keep him all to myself. He is such a joy to talk with and a complete absolute nut! Quite like me actually. I need someone who can share my zaniness and rather odd, quirky sense of humor! See what growing up can do!

I had an epiphany this week. It hit me out of the blue that for the first time in my life, I am completely, utterly happy with myself! People have told me before that I am a nice, smart, kind person but there is always this nagging doubt in the back of my mind that they say it because they love me and don't want to hurt my feelings. And while that is probably true in part, it occurred to me that I believe them all about everything else so why not about me? But the main thing that happened is I spent some hours meditating on me, my life, my future and that is when the epiphany happened. I'm not Mother Teresa but I'm not the devil incarnate either!

Well that is it for now. I tend to be less chatty in the daylight hours, don't I! But needed to get this down on "paper"!
