I should probably write about the days David’s not teething since the teething seems perpetual, interminable. Today was particularly bad. It took a half an hour of him sitting on my lap moaning and refusing all dinner before I figured out he probably could use some Tylenol.

I don’t understand why a completely natural process has to hurt. I understand why childbirth can hurt, the evolutionary compromise between our big heads and walking upright. That lead to the unclosed skull and difficulty getting through the pelvis. So, what happened with teeth?
