Mommy: Rose! Don't hit David.
Rose: He hit me first. I was just following the golden rule.
Mommy: What?!
Rose: Do unto others and you would have them do unto you. He hit me, so I hit him.

We then had a long conversation about the difference between do unto and did unto. I'm still not sure she gets it.
