NPR ran a story today about a controversy among mommy bloggers. So, this story is about payola, how some mommy bloggers are getting free goodies and then writing favorable reviews. And that perhaps might be unethical.

I feel so out of the loop. There are other mommies out there blogging? We are a community? We have power? We have conventions? Nobody invited me.

And how come Huggies hasn't asked me to review their diapers or bjorn offered me the new latest model to tell the world about? Granted my kids are done with diapers, but I wore a bjorn for years. I have a lot to say.

It's true that 90% of my readership is friends and family, but Kat, you are out there, we've never met. I could be a taste maker for you.
