Why is Rose whining, crying, and pouting?

A. I promised to let her mop the entire living room by herself and then I gave David a turn, and it's not fair.
B. She needs a snack.


Rose past her bedtime: Mary hurt my feelings. Mary told Laura (in the Little House in the Big Woods) that golden curls were nicer than brown curls.

Mommy to Rose: Mary's wrong.

Mommy to herself: Don't worry honey, Mary will get hers.
