The fun just doesn't stop. In honor of Rose's birthday, we took the entire family to the Aquasox game tonight. The entire family is 11 of us. Two other families came too. I really really enjoyed the Aquasox. They are a single A baseball team in an outdoor stadium that mercifully does not feel the need to inundate you with sound every second. There were actually moments of silence where you could talk to your friends and enjoy the game.

This was the kids' first baseball game. John was explaining things like balls and strikes as well as foul lines and stealing second. David got a little antsy, but the park had anticipated this and set up bouncy houses and ball throwing games outside. Unfortunately, that was where David and I were for a grand slam home run. Our team won, we had Rose's birthday announced over the loudspeaker, and I defied the rule about no outside food and brought in gluten-free brownies to celebrate. Happy happy double digits, Rose!
