I've held back on writing about David's piano lessons because frankly, I didn't know if they were going to keep happening. David said he wanted to take piano lessons and then flipped a bit. I have no interest in forcing the issue, but I didn't want to back away too quickly. The first week he was very attentive and then announced he did not want any more lessons. He and John managed to have one practice session. The second week he started out communicating in grunts, which did not bode well. I talked to the teacher afterwards, and she she said it had settled down, and we could keep at it if we wanted. He and John had one pleasant practice session. We are in week three as I write, and it seems to be going ok. So, please don't kvell over David and piano playing. We'll see what happens.
