...so long, California! For now.
(I cannot stress that strongly enough.) The journey starts bright and early, tomorrow morning. Cronkette and I should be passing through Vegas around 10-11am; how I will resist a pit stop there remains to be seen. (I'd appreciate any prayers for an act of God on this one. Although...maybe I can quickly earn some tuition and then keep going. Any suggestions on this?) Anyhow, once we pass Vegas on the 15 North, it's basically outer space for me - the great beyond past my roadtrip solar system. So tomorrow's a big day, in a lot of ways. For any friends reading this back in SoCal...I'd like to sincerely thank you all. I may be leaving home indefinitely, but I take you all and our memories together with me. I've got an extra couch and lake view waiting for me in Chi-town, so don't be strangers. So I'll be checking in from the [gulp] Midwest soon. Who knows what lies in store. I look forward to finding out. Peace. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
