Thanks again to everyone for all the "congrats" comments - I seriously wasn't expecting such a response. Speaking of good fortunes, I also hope everyone capitalized on the ridiculous mojo in the air this weekend.

Not only did Your Georgetown Hoyas upset the shameles AmEx commercial that is Coach K and his undefeated Blue Devils, not only did I tell an aspiring actress last night that I thought she looked 32 when it turned out she was 27 and still got her phone number, but Evil Friggin' Kobe dropped an NBA all-time second-best 81 points on the Raptors tonight at Staples!

Unbelievable! What are the odds of those three things happening in the span of 48 hours? If you're not a gambling (wo)man, now's a good time to start. At this point I'm waiting for one of my friends to call and tell me they've won $60 million.

Tomorrow it's off to the desert to apartment-hunt for a couple of days before starting the new gig. Hopefully the transition goes pretty smoothly - considering my last apartment search culminated with a gun to the chest, I've got some perspective and things could be a lot worse. Let's just hope the mojo continues...
