A friend of mine wondered if psychedelic drugs could enable the deaf to hear sounds. Like maybe drugs could activate a different part of the brain or something and at least make them think they’re hearing sounds.
But I’d always heard that drugs like LSD could make you see sounds and hear colors. If this is right then I think deaf people would just become color blind… hmm I guess its back to the deaf child playground for testing. I’ll let you know how this turns out.
