2004-04-21 3:01 PM Kill Bill Mood: Astounded Read/Post Comments (2) |
Quentin Tarrantino is a pretentious jack ass. Ive disliked every movie hes ever been affiliated with.
Except Kill Bill Ok This wasnt the greatest movie ever and some of the little artsy-fartsy details bothered me but overall, I liked it. WHAT?! QUENTIN TARRANTINO MADE A MOVIE THAT I LIKED??!! The brain at the end looked fake (btw and thats kind of a lame way for her to die anyway) , some of the music was annoying (some was great admittedly), Ive seen better fight scenes, the timeline incontinuity served no purpose except as a gimmick (why not just write that she fought Green first and then Ishii?), many of the lines were stilted by nerdy dialogue, there was the Quentin T trademark juvenile rape scene (Im Buck and Im here to fuck? Oh really) oh and speaking of which, QT can manage to strip the word fuck of all impact ie the price for bring that up is I will collect your fucking head how can that threat sound so weak coming from a crime boss who beheaded a dude right in that very room? Uma Thurman was not hot (I wouldnt kick her out of bed but that hardly qualifies her as being hot) Now, maybe it was the beer I was drinking, but it was still pretty good.
