2002-04-11 9:42 PM Sue! Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Out For Blood I think my Mom needs to sue. I really do. My law school friends agree with me. My Mom should sue.
The other day she was drinking a bottle of water. Still factory sealed in the plastic and all. And it's not until after drinking about 3/4 of it that she notices that something's in the water and the water is beginning to get cloudy. Turns out that there was a pill in the water bottle! She called the company and they told her to send the bottle to them. They didn't even ask if she was feeling all right or tell her to go see a doctor! Jerks! She's going to make sure she has a sample of the water left before giving anything over to the company. That is so not cool. I think she should sue them. But then again I'm in law so hey, you sue. Lisa agrees with me. Sue! I mean, if my Grandma had been the one to grab the bottle she probably would have downed it pill and all. And with all of her health problems and all of the medications she is on that would have been VERY bad. My Mom was very lucky. It only made her head hurt a bit. And that's probably because she only got a very small amount of it in her system before she noticed it in there. We don't yet know what the pill was, but when we find out I'll let you all know. And I'm not going to post the name of the bottled water company on here, but always look before you drink that stuff. I guess getting a third eye from LA tap water is starting to look pretty good right about now. So, today was pretty cool. Hung out with Lisa again. Went to the mall and looked around a while. We're thinking of making time to hang out on Thursday afternoons and working out. Whether it's in the gym in my building or mall walking. I need the motivation. So we mall walked today. And went all girly in a make up store. On a BLAH note, I got my corporations assignment. Looked nasty. Yesterday I copied everything I need to read for the paper before I start writing it. God damn. It's A LOT of reading. In a form of legalese that I just don't understand. This should not be fun. It's due a week from tomorrow. I think I'm going to hide now.
