My Neck Is Huge
Previous Entry :: Next Entry

Mood:
Puffy and Swollen

Today wasn't too bad - up until after dinner.

My Mom and I went to a few furniture places because she wants to get Rob and I a king sized bed. It's going to be our wedding present, but she's getting it for us now since we're currently cramped into a full sized bed. We ended up getting a comfy king sized bed (one of the kinds that's really good for people with bad backs - which is good since Rob and I both have some pretty serious back problems) and a real bed frame as well. My current bed is on a plain metal frame. No head board and no foot board. The new frame for the king bed will be a dark wood sleigh bed sort of thing. Very cool looking.

We also made a trip up to Pepperdine today so I could get some of the books I'll be needing for the Fall semester. I'm taking 5 classes and was able to buy the books for 4 of the classes. The books for the other class won't be in until after the first day of class. The books for 4 of my classes totaled around $500. Gah. Law books are scary expensive.

Mom and I met up with Rob at a Starbucks deep within the bowels of the Valley. We then headed to a chinese buffet restaurant for dinner. That place has great food, but nearly killed me. No joke. I'm lucky I'm not in the E.R. right now. There's still a chance I might be headed there tonight. I accidently ate some things with sea food in it at dinner. I'm VERY allergic to any sea food. I started getting horrible chest pains on the drive home (which really sucked because I was the driver). It felt like something was crushing my insides. It then started to get harder to breathe and my neck started swelling up. This is the second time that I've gone into anaflectic shock. My Mom gave me an antihistimine tablet the minute we got home. My neck has gone down in swelling a little bit and I can breathe a little bit better, but it still feels like someone is sitting on my chest. Blah.

I don't think Rob is in too good of a mood right now. Not only is he worried about me since my neck is wider than my ass, but he also has to be in to work tomorrow at 6:30am. Which means he'll be waking up at 5am. I love you sweetie. *hugs*

I'm going to head off for now. Gonna tuck Rob in since he has to get up ass early tomorrow and my Mom is going to watch me for awhile to make sure I don't die or end up having to make a run to the E.R.
