Yesterday my Mom, Rob, and I headed to a nearby strip mall and made a run to Ross and to Linens-N-Things. I picked up two shirts and Rob got a belt at Ross. At Linens-N-Things we needed to pick up a King sized mattress pad so that we have everything ready when the new bed arrives.

Last night was my Mom's last night here so we let her choose what to do. She wasn't up for seeing a movie so we went to the fondue restaurant up on Ventura for dinner and then hung around the apartment and watched TV and talked.

We all got up very early this morning (6am) because my Mom needed to be at the airport by 7:30am. We left around 6:30am and it only took a half hour to get there. There was no traffic. But that's because everyone was still in bed and sleeping. After dropping my Mom off at the airport Rob and I came back home and passed out for a few more hours.

Since both Rob and I had a very busy week, we decided to make today a lazy day around the house. We're watching TV, doing laundry, playing on the computer, and are going to order in food for dinner.

I'm kind of in a funk right now. I really miss my Mom. I love having her out here, but I get really depressed after she leaves. I am so happy to be with Rob. I usually get in a bad funk when she leaves, but having him here with me really helps. I'm still depressed, but at least I'm up and doing things.

Tomorrow I work on getting the Model Rules in my head. I have the MPRE on Friday and hope I pass it my first time around.
