Popcorn Chipmunks

Mood:
Tired and Allergic

I am so tired. More so than yesterday. I would give anything if it was around 8:30pm and not 8:30am. That would mean that I could leave here soon. But it's not and I'm here for another 13 hours or so. I was going to get a lot of sleep last night since I came home half dead. The plan was to go to bed around 9pm. And I did. I just didn't get to sleep until around 1am. And this time it wasn't because I wasn't able to fall asleep. This time it was because my fiance is a complete nut ball (and a highly stoned one at that).

As you may or may not know, Rob threw his back out big time on Sunday. He went into work yesterday and saw a doctor. The doctor told him to get some rest and prescribed him some muscle relaxants to be taken before bedtime. Now, I have to admit, if I'm going to be kept awake by something - being kept awake by laughing hysterically is one of the better ways to do it. Those pills made him lose it. Big time. As a matter of fact, he turned into a one man cooking show. Unfortunataly it wasn't something cool like Iron Chef - no, he had to become "Cooking With Cletus". And so I got to listen to how one would make "popcorn chipmunks" (kind of like popcorn shrimp, only using chipmunks instead of shrimp) in the microwave. Apparently you shove the microwave full of chipmunks until it can't hold any more, add a lemon, and nuke until the lemon explodes and seasons the chipmunks. And that was only the beginning. I think I'll be hiding those pills tonight.

My allergies are also killing me this morning. I keep sneezing, my eyes are all gooey, and I keep coughing. *sigh* Maybe the sneezing will at least keep me from falling asleep in class today. On the bright side, my Communications Law class is cancelled today because the Professor won't be here. On the down side, I'll be spending that time getting some much needed reading done. Never a moment of rest or relaxation for me. *whimper*
