2002-10-23 3:41 PM Nowhere To Go Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Creeped Out Last night was a total nightmare. I got out of my Sentencing and Corrections class early and was so happy that I could go home and pass out. Little did I know that I wouldn't be able to go home until sometime after 11pm. When I got home there were police everywhere, a police helicoptor overhead, and all of the entrances onto Arch Street (where my building and my parking lot are) were closed off. Some asshole had robbed the 7-11 on the corner and was hiding out on Arch St. They weren't letting anyone in the area. And so I headed over to the Boba Bar for a few hours. I had nothing to do and nowhere to go so I sat and drank milk teas while doing some reading for my Community Property class amongst loud music and obnoxious teenagers. Luckily, the people who work there are cool and know me (I'm a regular there) and so they let me study at one of their tables from 9pm until 11pm. At 11pm they had to close up and so I had to find somewhere else to go. I headed over to the Ralph's near my apartment because I had to pee something fierce. After hanging out in my car in the Ralph's parking lot for awhile Rob called and said that they opened up the street. I immediatly headed home. Today hasn't been much better. Normally I would say all is normal because I'm spending the day doing my school reading and the laundry, but something really fucking creepy is happening in my apartment. There are worms in my kitchen. And they're not normal earth worms. They're some really creepy kind. The bodies are while and one of their ends is black and they can spin webbing out of their ass. They can even hang mid-way down from the ceiling like a spider. They're maybe half an inch long and tough to kill. Rob and I found one of them stuck to the kitchen wall the other night and thought it was a weird larva or something like that. Now there's more in the kitchen and they're crawling around on the walls and on the ceiling. It's really disgusting. And really odd because we keep our place pretty clean. I have no idea where they're coming from or what kind of worm they are. I'd like to know what they are in case one of the cats decides to eat one - I don't want them to die or become ill from one of the little creepazoids. *shudders* If you have /any/ idea what kind of worm this could be, drop me an e-mail. I'll appreciate you forever. 3 more days until my birthday. ----------
