Hectic Weekend

This weekend was pretty hectic and I didn't have any time to log on. Looks like I have some catching up to do on here.

Saturday Rob and I slept in. It felt so good and was sorely needed by the both of us. Saturday night we had tickets to the final night of the Halloween Haunt at Knott's. We headed out around 4pm this time since traffic was so bad the last time we went. This was about the perfect time to leave. Traffic wasn't horrible and we got there at a good time. We got in right when the park opened and were able to do many things. For the first few hours the park was practically empty. Even later on when there were lines, they were nothing like they were last time. This is the time to go! I guess people just don't want to go in the days after Halloween, but that's fine by me 'cause the lines were great and the monsters were out in full force since this was their last night of work.

We went into the Alien Maze, the Werewolf log ride, The Underworld mine ride, the Malice in Wunderland maze, the Horrorwood maze, and the Vampire maze. We also saw the Ed Alonzo magic show. So - we were able to do everything we didn't do the last time and more! The only mazes we never went into were by choice. We didn't want to do Blood Bayou because it was a water ride where you get soaked. Blah. And we didn't want to do the Spider maze cause it sucked last year and I really don't like spiders.

We headed out around 11pm because we were able to do everything we wanted to in a short amount of time. When we got home we watched a little bit of the Hamptaro DVD that Rob's sister Donna sent to us. It was VERY disturbing! And that theme song is nearly impossible to get out of your head. *shudders*

Sunday we got up and headed out to get some registering done for our wedding. We headed over to Bed, Bath, and Beyond and registered for a lot of cool things. Unfortunately, they don't carry King sized bedding (just California King) and so we had to register elsewhere for bedding. We then headed over to Linens N Things to do more registering. This took forever. The people there were retarded and it took them over an hour to get us ready to register. But finally we went around the store scanning the things we wanted. We took the scanner back down and when they tried to upload everything into their computer system they found out that they had messed everything up and we had to start all over again. It was getting late so Rob and I decided to just register for everything at Linens N Things online. He has the UPC codes for what we want and is going to try to add everything into our registry from work today. We'll see how that goes. We're also thinking of registering at Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Target, and Best Buy somewhere down the line when we have the time.

The day was fun, but I didn't get any of the work done that I needed to. So, I'm swamped today. I have a ton of reading to do and I have a cross examination in my Trial Practice class this afternoon. Class starts at 1:30pm and I haven't even started on that yet. So, I'm going to get going and work my ass off. I hope I have the time to BS my way through my cross!
