2002-11-05 8:13 AM The Start Of A Really Bad Day Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! *THUD* Read/Post Comments (2) Yesterday I was able to get through my cross examination without much incident. I wrote it all out before class and managed to do a pretty decent job. So - that was cool. Unfortunately today is turning out to be one of THOSE days. *sigh* When I was leaving for school this morning I was looking around for the bracelet my Grandma got me from Tiffany's last year from my birthday. It was nowhere to be found. I only put my jewelry in one place and it had me very worried that it wasn't there. A couple of months ago Rob and I came home and the door to our apartment was unlocked (we always lock it) and a whole bunch of things in our second bedroom had been rifled through. It looked like someone had gone through all of our computer disks. We looked around the rest of the house and nothing was missing. So, I'm a but worried about my bracelet. I'll check other places tonight or tomorrow, but if I can't find it I'm going to report the loss to our building manager since he also knows about the thing that happened before. If that's gone for good, I'm a bit worried as to what else I'll find missing in the future. After looking around for my bracelet I realized I was running late. So I grabbed my purse and ran out the door. It wasn't until I got to school that I realized that I left my laptop at home. And on the worst possible day. I have four classes today! I'll have to go to the bookstore in a little bit and pick up a notebook or something like that. And that totally sucks ass because I can type way faster than I can write. Which means I won't be getting all of the notes I need in my classes (the Professors go pretty fast through the material). It also means that my long day (I'm here from 8am until 9pm) just got longer. Because after I get out of my last class around 9pm I'll have to come up to the lab to type everything I wrote out. And then I'll have to e-mail it to myself so that I can copy it onto my disk tomorrow. Forgetting my computer also means that I can't get any homework done today and will be showing up to several classes unprepared today. My assignment notebook and all of my syllabus's for my classes are in my computer bag. In fact, just about everything I need for today (other than my actual books) is in there. Now will someone come here and shoot me??? On the bright side, I was able to get an absentee ballot a few weeks ago. Since I'm stuck in Malibu for the entire day and my polling place is in Studio City I applied for an absentee ballot. I voted right when I received it. So that's taken care of. Yay! Rob is not so lucky. He changed his address with the voter registration people and they messed it up. They changed the street and apartment number, but left his old street name and city there. So he's at 4045 Kenmore in Los Angeles - which doesn't exist. So he has to run around tonight after work and try to find where the hell his polling place is. Poor thing. Anyway, today's election day so get out there and vote! I don't care if you dislike all of the candidates, just be glad you have a choice. So go. Vote. Now. Unless you're a Republican. Just kidding. Well, kind of... ----------
Take the 100 Acre Personality Quiz! This is kind of an amusing result - especially since my Mom used to call me "Baby Roo" when I was a wee one. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
