What is it with me and bugs? I hate them, I am scared of them, and I think I am cursed around them.

Yesterday I got attacked by one at school. Something that looked like a cross between a spider and a scorpion (and was about 3 inches long) approached me in the library by the printers. I eeped and ran and it then started chasing me around the library. After being chased all over the place a guy was nice enough to jump on it for me until it died.

And today our apartment is overrun with bugs again. The worms have hatched and we have moths everywhere. They're all over the place and our kitchen cabinets are filled with them.

*cries* Why can't I just live in a happy bug free zone? Aargh!!!

And to top it all off the stress from school is enormous. I'm going to be working my ass off for the next month or so. Though I'm going to do things in digestible chunks. For the next two weeks or so I'll focus on my current homework (class reading) and my final trial for Trial Practice (which is a week and 5 days away) and my paper for Race and the Law (which is due in a week and 6 days). Once those are out of the way I'll work on outlining my other classes and getting ready for finals. I can't wait until mid-December. I need a few days off and it will be nice.

I got my car insurance bill yesterday. Ugh. Close to $1,000 for 6 months of auto insurance. I swear, those insurance companies rob you blind in Los Angeles.

Rob and I have also been having some problems in our apartment building. The other night a group of rowdy guys broke one of the pictures in the hallway. Glass was all over the place. These are the same guys that parked in my parking spot when they had a party. Rob spoke with the building manager and he said that they have had many other problems with these guys. Only one of them pays rent and is on the lease, but this guy and his friends pretty much use it as a club house. So, Antonio (our apartment manager) is looking into terminating their lease. He's got a laundry list of complaints (loitering, trespassing, littering, interfering with other residents, destruction of property) pending against them. I really wouldn't mind seeing them get evicted. They've been nothing but pains in the ass and have made this apartment complex not so great to live in.

It's a little after 2pm now so I'm going to log off, geek out, and go watch Passions. Mmmmmm, brainless television!
