2002-11-14 8:26 AM Gone Greek Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Tired Read/Post Comments (1) Once again I got hardly any sleep last night and I can barely keep my eyes open. If it wasn't for Red Bull I would probably fall asleep in my Community Property class today. Blah. So - I have done something that I never in a million years thought I would do. I have joined a fraternity. That's right, I've gone Greek. I'm now a member of Phi Alpha Delta. However, it's not what you normally think of when you think fraternity. First off, it's not just for men - both men and women are welcome to join. There's no frat house - this is a law fraternity that is invite only. And there are no kegger parties. Their parties are way cooler and even though I generally hate parties and make it a point to stay far away from them I'm going to have to check out some of Phi Alpha Delta's. You see, thier parties usually involve attorneys and politicians who are out of school and working. I'm hoping that this opens some career doors for me. I know members of PAD are usually helpful to each other and so if it helps me get interviews it will all be worth it. But still, I am in a frat. Weird, huh? I'm at school again and bored. I know I should be doing my reading, but I really don't want to. I'm slacking and this is so bad. So, I need to find something to do. Normally I'd just exchange e-mails with Rob, but he's out of the office this morning. His hospital is having an emergency drill and he gets to be a victim. Lucky bastard gets to spend the entire morning laying down on a stretcher pretending to be wounded or dead. I'd like to spend my morning laying down. *whimpers* ----------
