Mood:
My Whole Body Hurts

Read/Post Comments (0)

Ugh. Okay, it's not much for a journal entry title, but it's the way I'm feeling right now.

I didn't get nearly enough stuff done this weekend. This week is going to be a bad one - I'm going to have to scramble and forgo many things (including sleep) in order to prepare for my trial and get my Race and the Law paper done. Too much to get done and not enough time.

To top it all off my body hurts all over. It feels like I've been hit by a bus. And my back is in such pain that it hurts to move. Oddly enough it's not my usual lower back pain - it seems as if I've pulled a muscle or something and it hurts every time that muscle is used. I'm also beyond tired. I can barely keep my eyes open. And I can't think straight. This is not going to be a pleasant week for me.

Son of Corwin of Amber and Dara of Chaos. Looks a great deal like his father, but wears gray and purple. Originally intended to be the future ruler of Amber, he got cornered into becoming the King of Chaos instead. (Prince of Chaos by Roger Zelazny.) He's a good person, who's just trying to do his own little projects without bothering anyone or having anyone bother him. Is that so much to ask for? But does he get his wish? No. Instead, he has to weather assassination attempts, deal with disgruntled sorcerors and put up with overbearing relatives. Trained as a sorceror and gentleman in Chaos, when he lived on Earth, he attended Berkeley and later designed computers. How can you not like a computer geek with the power to level cities and the social graces of a prince?
