Yesterday was spent working on stuff for Monday's trial. I was able to get a rough draft done of my opening statement. I still have to write up my direct and cross examinations and then memorize everything. And I haven't even started my Race and the Law paper. Things are coming along, but way more slowly than they should be. That worries me because of the amount of work I need to get done and the small bit of time that I have to do it. Today I'm meeting with Anne-Marie (my partner for the trial) and we're going to go over what we have so far.

I didn't have many breaks yesterday and my mind is feeling it today. I did a bit of stuff on line, took breaks to put laundry into and out of the machines, and made a run to PetCo for some cat food. Other than that I worked. My brain hurts and I'm dead tired. I didn't get much sleep at all last night. It's kind of disappointing. I think about the time I spent working and what I got done - and the ratio is horrible. A ton of time was spent working and not much came out of it. *sigh* Oh well, back to the grind. Today I'm swamped with classes so I don't know if I'll have the time to write up more things for the trial. Maybe I'll stay up late tonight and get some work done. *shrugs*

Tip of the day: Never go to law school. It really is not a good idea. Don't believe me? Just ask Lisa.

I'm not a big fan of the south, but from all that I could have gotten this has to be by far the coolest one. I have a feeling that the reason I did get this one was because I was able to answer the questions that were in French. Heh. Looks like my adolescent days of learning French actually taught me a little bit.
