Mood:
Cold - It's Like 20-something out here!!!

Okay, so this is an odd computer. The thing keeps freezing, the highest speed it can connect at is 28.8 (due to my Mom's crappy internet service), and the keyboard is balanced precariously on a drawer. *sigh*

Anyway, yesterday went well - but a little odd. The limo took us to LAX at lightning speed. From the Valley to LAX in around 20 minutes. Because Rob and I were flying on a rather small airline there was literally no line to wait in for check in. However, once we were waiting to board the plane things started to get weird. This odd middle aged woman in a red suit with a red hat appeared out of nowhere. It looked like she came up through the floor or something. She then looked at two female passengers and said "Hello sisters, I have arrived. I am strong now. I have muscles!" She then went to a man sitting there and asked for him to change seats. He had been sitting there for like an hour or something and was waiting for other people so he refused to. She then went into a tirade about how those seats belonged to her. Finally she wandered off only to return about a half an hour later so that she could pester a flight attendant. She went up to one of the flight attendants for our flight and told her that she was ready to board. She then showed the attendant her ticket. The attendant told her that first off when a plane was ready to board that they would call the passengers. And secondly the ticket she had was not for our flight and her flight was at an entirely different gate. The woman then sat down by our gate. I think yesterday was the flight to Bellevue!

The flight itself was fairly uneventful. We got into the Milwaukee airport around 6pm and my Mom was there to pick us up. We then had about a three hour drive to my Mom's home in Galena. And now we're here. I should log off and shower 'cause we have to head to the mall today for more shopping. Ugh. That should be a nightmare.

Anyway, it looks like I can post from here and that this is an acceptable web page to my Mom's computer (which by the way is sentient). So expect some postings on here when I have the time!
