2003-03-03 8:10 PM Car Maintenance Previous Entry :: Next Entry Mood: Tired Read/Post Comments (0) This morning I had to get up and take my car over to the Lexus Dealer. It needed the 15k oil change / maintenance and the steering wheel was squeaking a bit. I love that car dealer (the one in Glendale). I brought the car in and was out of there in about 10 minutes. They gave me a loaner to have for the day which meant that I didn't have to waste my time sitting around while they worked on my car. The loaner car was pretty cool. It was a 4 door car with a very sporty engine in it. I think it was an ES 300. Very nice. I've come to the opinion that the best cars out there are made by Lexus. When I went back to pick up the car they had decided to change the parts that were squeaking because the last time they lubed them the squeak came back. This might not seem like much to you, but considering the fact that when I had my Mustang the Ford dealer ignored me for close to three years about the pull in my car it's nice to finally be able to go somewhere that listens to me and fixes the car. And the free loaner is pretty damn cool as well. In between dropping off my car and picking it up I did reading for tomorrow's classes (Christ, there was a lot of reading for Remedies!!!) and laundry (still baffled at how two people can have so much laundry after one week). Once I got home from picking my car back up I was in a pretty good mood. Until I got home and listened to two messages on my answering machine. One was from my Mom and the other was from my Dad. At that point my good mood was gone. I don't want to post about this on my public journal. So, those of you with private access might want to check out my private one. ----------
