Rob and I had to get up this morning to meet with Tina (our cat sitter) and go over everything with her. We went over the stuff for the cats, paid her, and talked a bit. She's a real nice woman and the cats seem to get along wonderfully with her.

After Tina left Rob and I showered and got ready to head down to Claudine's for my final dress fitting. On the way down there we made a stop in Santa Monica in order to pick up Mindy (my maid of honor). We nabbed her and then headed on down to Redondo Beach. Once there I tried on the finished dress. Wow. It's incredible. I was SO scared of wearing white (it is not flattering if you're at all overweight), but the dress looks REALLY good on me. And it actually manages to make me look smaller than my day to day clothes (definitely a plus). Mindy thought it looked incredible and I wanted to show Rob. Unfortunately Claudine and Mindy wouldn't let me. *pouts* Oh well, he'll see it soon enough. I also tried on the head piece and veil and everything seemed to fit perfectly. The whole ensemble is amazing - very Renaissance style. It's incredible. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! I can't believe that in less than a week I'll be married. How wild is that? I think Rob will like the dress (I hope, I hope, I hope...), however he's going to have his work cut out for him after the wedding. It is NOT easy to get me out of that dress. There are no zippers or buttons. The thing is all one piece and is hard to get into (I couldn't do it without the aid of others) and is really hard to get out of. Oh well, once he gets that off of me he will be well rewarded.

After my dress fitting we dropped Mindy back at her place and then headed back to the Valley. We did some errands, made a stop at a local Starbucks for some Chai, and then came home. Tonight has also been spent getting ready for the wedding. We just finished wrapping the gifts for the wedding party and once I log off of here we need to get some "thank you" cards done and mailed out and then look over the prayer book and the Bible to see what prayers we want said at the wedding. 6 days to go . . . wow.
