This is my new Vaio desktop's first entry.

Saturday my Mom, Rob, and I had been thinking about going for some Dim Sum in the morning, but we were all too full from the night before and too tired. So, we slept in.

Once we dragged our tired butts out of bed we got ready and headed out. Our first stop was to the pet food store to get the kitties some foodage. Then we hit the Glendale Galleria mall. It took forever to find a parking spot and once we did we noticed that the mall was majorly crowded. We looked around a few stores and I was able to buy Rob some Xmas presents (yes, he knows about them, but that's fine because he is IMPOSSIBLE to buy for). I got him a beard trimmer at The Sharper Image. And a Tumi briefcase at Nordstrom's. Also at Nordstrom's I picked myself up some Kiehl's lip balm. My lips have been really chapped recently. We also looked around a bit in the Mac store, but we left pretty quickly because it was hot and crowded in there.

After the mall we headed to strip mall in Burbank because we wanted to check out computers at Best Buy. When we got there we decided to check out a few other stores as well. I ended up finding a cool (but not perfect) pair of black leather boots at Shoe Pavillion. The boots were a bit too long (size 10, and I'm a size 9) but I decided to get them anyway because it's nearly impossible for me to find boots that are wide enough, have a very low heel, and can zip up my leg. So, I'll deal with the length.

After checking out some other random stores we headed into Best Buy to look at computers. I know next to nothing about computers so I let Rob deal with the sales guy. We decided to go with a PC instead of a Mac. I'm a bit shaky on this thing, but hopefully I'll learn over time. We ended up getting a Sony Vaio. I'm not sure of the model number. We also got a 19 inch flat screen moniter and a printer which is also a scanner. I have no clue how to use any of this and Rob's trying to slowly teach me. At least I figured out how to use the web and e-mail! I still think I prefer Macs a bit, but I'm starting to dig this computer (which has been named Nutty the Squirrel God). I also picked up a few CDs while at Best Buy. I got the Duran Duran greatest hits CD and a CD by Avril Lavigne. After we bought the computer (which took forever - those employees are slow as shit) we packed it into my car (sometimes it's nice to have the space of an SUV) and headed to dinner. There's an Outback Steakhouse in the mall where we purchased the computer so we ate there. It sounded (and was) really good.

After dinner we headed back to our apartment. We lounged around, talked, and watched TV. We stayed up pretty late.

Sunday morning my Mom got up early because her limo was arriving around 9:30 to pick her up and take her to the airport. It arrived a bit early, but she was ready and so we hugged and she took off. Rob and I promptly went back to sleep. When we got up we were feeling lazy and so we decided to spend Sunday around the house. We ended up hooking up the new computer and getting it all set up. The set up took longer than we thought it would and so we ordered in food from Marie Callander's. Once the computer was set up and ready to go we fiddled around with it for a bit and then watched Adult Swim.

Today has been a lot slower than I wanted it to be. I had planned on getting up early, getting most of the laundry done, and then maybe going out to see a film tonight with my sweetie. But that's so not going to happen. I woke up this morning very dizzy (I was even dizzy while lying down) and nausious. I went back to sleep and didn't wake up until around 3:15pm. Even then I felt like crap, but I couldn't allow myself to stay in bed any longer. I'm doing some laundry, but it's very slow going because I can barely walk. I am so dizzy right now it's not even funny. If this lasts another day or so I'll try to make a doctor's appointment, though I'm not sure how I'll get there. I'll probably have to call around friends and see if any of them can take me to and from the doctor's. I know that driving while this dizzy would be a very bad idea. I just hope I start feeling better soon. This whole dizzy thing is really throwing me off. And it's kind of annoying to have to hang on to things or crawl around when I want to get somewhere in the apartment. Ugh.
