Last night Rob was able to get home on time from work (which, with the way the past week has been going for him at work was pretty much an incredible feat) and so the minute he got home we headed over to Burbank. We went to see a 6:35 showing of Peter Pan at the big new AMC theatre in downtown Burbank.

The movie was pretty decent. I definitely enjoyed it, but it's not something I'll be buying on DVD. More like something to rent down the road when the mood strikes me. There were a few things about the film that stuck out though. The scene where Peter Pan and Wendy kiss - that was just plain disturbing. They're kids!! Damn, Tink was a bitch (yet so cool). Captain Hook is definitely the coolest character in the film. And why is it that when Hook was thinking his "happy thoughts" to stay in the air that he mentioned "lawyers" along with things like "puppies blood"? *grumbles*

After the movie Rob and I grabbed some Del Taco and headed home. Not much is going on today. Same ol' crap (job hunting and the like). Tonight should be fun though. I get to see The Princess Bride for the first time - and it will be in the theatre. Yay Nuart midnight movies!
