Last night Berek came by around 10pmish (Pita stayed at home because she works early on Saturdays). We met him out front and headed over to the Nuart. We got to the theatre a little after 10:30pm, got the tickets, and waited in line. Around 11pm Bryce and Julia showed up. We talked and goofed around while waiting in line and were actually let into the theatre BEFORE midnight this time. We grabbed soda and candy once we got in the theatre and then got our seats.

Julia had to make a bathroom run before the movie started and when she came back into the theatre during the previews she didn't look too hot. She said she felt ill and Berek promised to take Bryce home so she headed out. I hope she's feeling better today.

We saw a midnight showing of The Princess Bride. Bryce, Berek, and Rob had seen it before. I, had not. I really liked the film. It's not the normal type I go for, but it was very good. It's definitely something I want to see again, but not something I want to own. All in all I'm VERY glad that I finally got to see it. The only annoying thing about the experience was that the people in the row behind us were reciting the film LINE FOR LINE. Normally, I wouldn't be bothered by this, but this was my first time seeing the film and therefore it was annoying. I can appreciate people who have seen a film so many times that they can recite the entire movie (hell, I can do that with The Lost Boys), but people also need to know that it's not appropriate to do that in a public theatre. If I could hold my tongue back when we saw The Lost Boys at the Nuart, they could have done it last night for The Princess Bride.

After the movie we took Bryce home and then attempted to find a place to grab food. We headed over to the IHOP on Sunset, but there was an hour wait. Screw that. We headed out, but Berek still really wanted IHOP. Rob called 411 from his cell phone to see if there was one near our place. Apparently there is one in Burbank. It had an "A" rating and was clean and nice (and no wait) so we did dinner there. Well, by this time it was more like breakfast. Rob kept falling asleep at the table and I kept having to wake him up so that we wouldn't get kicked out (but I really can't blame him since at this point he had been up for around 22 hours). After IHOP Berek dropped us off and headed home.

We've decided to do another Disneyland (and Dim Sum) run tomorrow with Berek and Pita so today Rob and I are just staying in. We ordered in pizza and just finished watching Cat People which is another film Rob has never seen before. He seemed to like it. Now we're going to mess around on Neopets for a bit (join us Carrie, you know you want to - be one of us) and then *hopefully* get some sleep because we have to get up at 7am tomorrow morning.
