Rob and I got up at 7am yesterday (Sunday) morning. We showered, got ready, and Berek and Pita arrived around 8:30am. We met them out front, hopped in Berek's car, and headed to Chinatown. We went to the Empress Pavillion for Dim Sum. Got there around 9am which we found out is a really good time to get there. There was no wait to get in and there were plenty of carts moving around. We were there for around two hours pacing ourselves and eating really yummy food. Rob, Berek, and I hadn't been there in ages. Pita had never been to Dim Sum at all. We all had fun and enjoyed the food, the Boba tea, and the atmosphere. We headed out of there around 11am, at which point, there were a ton and a half of people waiting outside for their number to be called out. We looked around in some shops and the headed out.

The freeway was pretty clear and we made good time heading to Disneyland. We stopped at the Sephora in Downtown Disney and then went into Disneyland, or tried to anyway. We hit a bit of a snag when they told Pita that it was a blackout day for her pass. So, she had to wait in the ticket line to get a ticket for the day. We all finally made it into the park. We looked around in some shops, bought a locker for the day to store our sweaters and jackets in, and then went to the area where they process annual passes. Pita decided it was time to upgrade her pass to the one that Berek, Rob, and I have (where there are no blackout dates). After she upgraded her pass we went to the Indiana Jones ride and noticed that the line was LONG. So, we grabbed some "fast passes" and went on the Jungle Cruise. After that we did Pirates and the Haunted Mansion. It was then the time to use our "fast passes" so we went back to the Indiana Jones ride. From there we hit Tomorrow Land and rode the monorail all the way around (and managed to scare the hell out of the other people in the car by speaking to each other only in squeakys and moos). Berek then wanted to check out the Star Wars shop and bought a Wookie t-shirt. We then wandered over to Fantasy land and had dinner. Then it was off to Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, the Tea Cups, and Alice in Wonderland. After those Pita wanted to go on the Dumbo ride. She went on twice (once on her own and once with Berek) while Rob and I sat down, talked, and sipped hot chocolate. By the time they were done with Dumbo it was getting late and starting to rain so we decided to head out. We looked around Downtown Disney for a little while and then finally made our way back to Berek's car. Both Rob and I fell asleep in the car on the ride home.

Once Rob and I got home we got ready for bed, played with the cats a bit, watched a bit of Adult Swim, and then went to bed. Apparently I fell asleep when he was turning off the TV and the light. We were both exhausted.

Today it's back to the same old crap. Rob's at work and I'm doing laundry. We're probably going to stay in tonight because I have a ton of laundry to get done and I'm still pretty sore from the park yesterday.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention one REALLY weird thing that Rob and I saw at Disneyland. When Pita was getting her pass for the park Rob and I were just sitting down and relaxing. We then saw a family with an odd looking little girl (she had a caveman forehead and eyebrows). We noticed her because she was odd looking and had on a t-shirt that read "Don't make me call the fashion police". Just as we were about to look around and see if Berek and Pita were in the line yet she started making ugging noises and grabbing her croch. Yeah, weird. Rob and I were stunned and frozen in horror as she and her family went into the park. I then started giggling and Berek and Pita came into the park. When we told them what had happened they seemed equally horrified. Berek made a comment along the lines of "Wow, that's just not right". And you know something, he was right.

Normal Human: You are normal; you worry about the
future, and are locking into a set schedule.
Sometimes you break away to have a little bit
of fun, but generally you stick to your same
old, same old. You have a normal/6-7 banality.
