Yesterday Rob and I slept in and then decided to stay in bed and cuddle for a while. After we finally got up and got ready we headed over to Citywalk for the late afternoon and evening.

Neither of us was in the mood to see a movie, so we decided just to wander around and look in the shops. We went into a lot of shops and got a few things. At Sam Goody (damn they downsized that store) I picked up a CD by Gary Jules (very interesting music - and I LOVE the song "Mad World" from Donnie Darko and Rob got me the DVD for The Last Unicorn because he knows it's one of my favorite movies. He's such a sweetie.

We then wandered some more and ended up grabbing dinner at Shanghai and Mein. We haven't eaten there in a very long time, and yet most of the staff there still remembered us. How cool is that? And they still have the BEST potstickers/dumplings ever.

After dinner I hit the Skechers store and ended up getting a new pair of sneakers. My current ones are pretty old (I got them around when I started law school) and as comfy as they are, they're starting to go. So I picked up a cute black pair. While I was in the shoe store, Rob made a run to the Fossil store and ended up getting me an adorable heart watch (the face is in the shape of a heart and the bracelet part ia also made up of hearts) that I had been eyeing earlier in the day. Once again, I say that he is a total sweetie. And he really doesn't need to keep getting me things. Sometimes I think he treats me too well and spoils the hell out of me. I just hope that I treat him as well as he deserves to be treated.

After that we headed back home (filled up the car with gas on the way home) and watched TV (news, Adult Swim, etc.) until we headed to bed.

Yesterday was also Sydney's birthday. He got his present (the Coach collar) early. He's 9 now and we gave him a special food treat for dinner. The cat's pretty much just eat a diet of Wellness dry food (it's better for their teeth and they tend to gorge on soft food and throw it up after eating it), but we gave Sydney some gormet (savory hunters stew with duck) wet cat food as a b-day treat. He seemed to enjoy it a lot.

Today I'm back to the norm. Job hunting, laundry, household crap, etc. My anemia seems to be getting better and while I'm still pretty tired and all, I'm not dizzy or weak anymore. Tomorrow Rob's thinking of taking the day off of work so that we can hit Disneyland and California Adventure and check out the new Tower of Terror ride. And this weekend Rob and I will probably hit the Ren Faire (so far the temps look very good for it) with Shannon and Al.

of the darker Gregorovitch creations no doubt.
Vengeful and seething with hatred, you wouldn't
