Rob got home early from work today, but not as early as he had hoped. His boss told him that today would be a half day because of the upcoming holiday weekend. Apparently a normal person's version of a half day (leaving around lunch) and her version of a half day (leaving at 4pm, when he normally leaves at 4:30pm) are very different. Luckily, his other boss told him to hit the road around 2:30pm. So, he ended up getting home early, but not as early as he assumed originally.

When he got home from work we made a quickie run to the Sephora in the Sherman Oaks mall. I love the new perfume I got the other day and wanted to pick up the hydrating body spray of it as well. I also got some really cool body scrub called "Gingerbread Man" (also by Philosophy) and some Clinique SPF 30 for faces (the last stuff I used on my face made me break out majorly). After getting this stuff we headed over to Burbank.

We headed to the AMC 6 in Burbank and saw a 5:35 showing of Shrek 2. Wow, that was a really funny movie. I soooooo loved Puss in Boots. I think we need to get boots for Amber. Rob dug the giant gingerbread man. All in all it was a very good and very funny movie. I think I actually liked it a bit better than the first one.

After the movie we grabbed dinner at McDonald's (hooray for Neopets Happy Meals) and then headed home. Now I'm just doing some online things I didn't have time to today and paying some bills and then we're going to chill out a bit before heading to bed. Tomorrow we have to get up *early* in the AM. Yuck.
