Mood:
Wishing I had a new cell phone company.

For those of you who try and get in touch with me, please read this entry.

Apparently, the voice mail on my cell is having some issues. People have tried to leave messages on it and I'm not getting them. My phone doesn't beep to say there is a voice mail, and when I call my voice mail it tells me there are no messages. This is really no surprise considering the fact that no one really owns my cell company anymore (AT&T sold it and Cingular can't own it yet because the sale is tied up in courts), but it is nonetheless annoying as hell. My phone even switches back and forth between saying I'm on the AT&T network and saying I'm on the Cingular network.

If you need to get ahold of me, e-mail is the best way to do it. I'm on line at least once a day. Granted, unless it's an emergency, it might take a few days for me to get back to you (my e-mail does get backlogged) - but most of the time I will get the e-mail.

The second best way to get ahold of me is my home phone. If I'm not there, we have an answering machine. It sometimes likes to hang up on people who speak quietly, but we also have caller ID, so I can see who called and when. If I'm online the phone will be busy.

You can also always try my cell, however I usually have pretty crappy reception on it and it's not guaranteed to ring through. Just be forewarned - you're more than welcome to leave a message on my cell, but know that it is having problems and I might not get the message.

If something super important comes up - just do all three. Drop me an e-mail, leave a message on my home phone, and leave a message on my cell. Chances are I'll get at least one of them.

Unfortunately, unless my cell phone company gets better, this problem is going to continue for a long while. I still have one year and six months left on my contract and can't pay an $800 fee to switch to a more reliable company.

That's all for now. Just wanted to give you all a heads up on this situation.
