Last night Rob and I headed out to Burbank. We had dinner at Fuddrucker's and then went to a 7:40 showing of AvP. It wasn't anything spectacular, but it was definitely fun to watch. There were some things I really liked about it, and some things I thought were lame.

Warning: The next paragraph will have spoilers for AvP. After the next paragraph you should be safe.

What I liked about the movie: It was fun to watch, the effects were pretty good, and plot wise, I really liked it when the girl got the Predator's respect (and marked as one of their warriors) when she was able to take down one of the Aliens. What I didn't like about the movie: It was cheesy in spots and the ending was uber lame. I mean come on, when Aliens pop out of humans they don't have any human features. So, if an Alien hatches out of a Predator why the hell would it have Predator features?

Between dinner and the movie Rob and I headed into a candy store and I was in for a very pleasant surprise. For awhile now I have been craving rice candy. It's my all time favorite candy ever. However, I haven't been able to find it for ages. Well, this candy store had it. Granted, it was in small overpriced boxes, but it was rice candy nonetheless. Yum. That stuff is addicting.

So, I would like to change the look of my journal since it's the beginning of the month, but Earthlink is having issues so I can't put up a new picture or take down the old one. *sigh* Hopefully, sometime soon, my journal should have a new funk-a-delic layout. We'll see when Earthlink lets me into my site.
