I just can't get a break when it comes to getting those glasses. *sigh* As mentioned in a previous entry, my Mom was nice enough to track down a pair of the frames I needed at a Lenscrafters near her. They had one pair left, made the glasses for me, and shipped them out at the end of last week. Things were looking good. Things would have been good if it weren't for some complete idiot who thought it would be a good idea to ship a pair of glasses in a soft glass case and to put that soft case in an envelope. Needless to say, the glasses arrived in unwearable condition. They're all bent up. One side of them is fine. The other one is bent down at an angle so the entire left side (left side when wearing them) of the glasses droops down at an angle. So, what would have been a pair of frames that I could wear without giving me a serious headache are now all bent up. How hard is it for someone to realize that putting something fragile, like glasses, in a soft case and then putting that in an envelope and not even marking the envelope as fragile is a bad idea? I mean come on people, this isn't rocket science. So, sometime this week (hopefully tomorrow night) I'm going to head to a store near me and see if they can be fixed or if I'm just fucked. You have no idea how pissed off I am right now.

Unfortunately, the Glendale store might still have the pair that Iowa sent them in stock. I, however, cannot go in and get them or exchange the broken frames due to the fact that they have been told that they behaved unprofessionally and they could stick the frames up their lying asses. I don't think they would take too well to me going back in and asking for them. Besides, if there's one thing I will not do, it's go back to some place that treated me like shit and grovel.

In other news, Rob and I spent the night at home last night. There was a lot of laundry that needed to be done and I still had many loads left when he got back home from work. So, we watched the DVD of House of 1000 Corpses.
