Mood:
Wishing Rob were here.

Sunday we slept in and got together with Berek and Pita in the late afternoon. We decided to just spent the rest of the afternoon and the evening hanging out together and going store hopping.

Our first stop was The Game Zone in Pasadena (time to get our geek on). We looked around in there for awhile. Rob got a magazine and a book. Amazingly enough, I didn't pick anything up this time.

Our second stop was Taco Bell (foodage needed). Neither Rob nor myself had eaten yet and we were both fairly hungry. Pita also craved foodies. So, we stopped there and munched. I think this is the first time in my life that my body didn't turn on me for eating Taco Bell. Maybe my stomach is getting tougher.

Our third stop was at the drug store. Rob had forgotten to bring his pressure point wrist bands with him and was thus suffering the consequences. The bands keep him from getting motion sick and by the time we got to the drug store he looked like he was about to up-chuck on the back of Pita's head (she was sitting in front of him in the car). Luckily, he got the bands and didn't end up throwing up. It's always a good thing when someone in the car next to you doesn't vomit.

Our forth stop was at the Virgin Megastore on Sunset. I had gone in wanting to check out some Sinatra albums (which I did, but I didn't end up getting any). I came out with a ton of DVDs. Rob and I both bought a whole bunch of DVDs. We ended up getting: Ginger Snaps 2, Fright Night 2, the new two disc special edition of The Lost Boys, Urotsukidoji, House of 1000 Corpses, Hellboy, and the live action version of La Blue Girl. I told you we got a ton of DVDs. After making our purchases Rob and Berek ran off to find a bathroom and Pita and I chilled out outside and talked. Berek is quickly learning that when Pita and I are alone, we plot against the men-folk. *insert evil laugh here*

Our fifth, and final stop for the night was at The Pleasure Chest in West Hollywood. And once again, Rob and I managed to scare Berek. He came over to us, holding some scented soap, and said "I'm getting soap". I looked at Berek and said "We're getting a hog tie set, some rope, a collar and leash, a blindfold, and a whip". He blinked and headed back to the safety of Pita.

After that it was time to head home. Berek and Pita dropped Rob and I off at our apartment. We ordered in Thai food for dinner and watched the new La Blue Girl DVD that we had bought. It was a lot less weird than I thought it was going to be. You would think that an unrated live action version of that movie would be pretty damn freaky. It wasn't. In fact, it was rather tame. Rob said it was along the lines of a Japanese Troma film. I think he's right. After the DVD we headed to bed.
