This morning Rob had his driving lesson. He was out from 9am until around 10:45am. He said he's getting better, but still having problems with his turns. He also ran into a decent amount of morons (like people walking down the middle of the road). If he wants to go into detail, I'll let him post about it in his own journal.

When he got back he crawled back into bed for a few more hours with me. We pulled ourselves out of bed around 2pm and got ready. We headed out around 4:15 and made our way to the Starbucks across from where Pita works. We were meeting her there after she got off of work (a bit after 5pm). We had some coffee and then went to her apartment. Rob and I got to see Berek and Pita's new apartment. It's very cute. We also got to meet their kitties (Hal and Naboo). Two adorable black male kitties. Hal was friendly with both Rob and I and Naboo kept running from us. She showed us around the apartment and around the courtyard area where they have a pool, a fitness center, a meeting room, and a barbeque area. It was very cool.

After the tour we headed out and went to the Northridge mall. Our first stop was Torrid. I tried on a few things, but nothing really worked. I just ended up getting a pair of super comfy flip flops which were on sale for $6 (originally $25). Now I'm wishing I had picked up both colors. From there it was on to Hot Topic where we met up with Ben (Berek's brother) and Berek's dad. We looked aroumd in Hot Topic and I picked up a stuffed zombie bunny. Pita got a Legend clock and Ben got a bunch of "Family Guy" t-shirts (he's trying to get every single one they make). We then all headed to Lane Bryant where I picked up some panties, a cute shirt, and a sparkly top for when we go clubbing and Pita got some bras.

Around then it was time to head out of the mall. We parted way with Ben and his dad and headed out of the mall. Or, at least we tried to. We had to make one more pit stop in a store to check on Neopets stuff. Pita got a Faerie Ixi for herself and one for me (she's such a sweetie). Oh, and I nearly forgot to mention, Rob got me a small stuffed snail and bat which are now living on top of my dresser (which is clean and has cute things on top of it now). After the Neopets stop, we headed out of the mall.

Our next stop was at Collar and Leash, where Berek works. We tormented him with our insanity and met back up with Ben there. I ended up purchasing two tags for the cats (to put on their collars - it's their name on the top line, "Indoors Only" on the second line, and our phone number on the third line), some stuff to put on the cats to lessen their dander (since I'm allergic to them), and some toys for them. We hung out with Berek until he closed up the store. Right at closing time when he was counting the day's sales people walked in. He looked like he wanted to kill them. They bought a few things which meant that Berek had to start counting the day's sales over again. Berek was finally able to close and the five of us decided it was time for dinner. We chose T.G.I. Friday's.

Pita went in the car with Rob and myself so that she could direct me there. We met up with Berek and Ben when we got there. There was no wait (by this time it was already around 9:30pm) and so we got a table immediately. Service was slow at first but picked up when Berek said something. We had dinner, socialized, and then parted ways. Rob and I headed back home and are now both on the computers in the business center. When I'm done with this entry I'm going to go and futz around on Neopets. Tomorrow there's tentative plans for Berek, Pita, Rob, and myself to go to Dim Sum. I hope it works out. It sounds so good.
