I took my car in yesterday. It's all checked out and ready to go for my road trip to Solvang. I'm glad I had them check everything out though because apparently there was a problem with my four wheel drive (which isn't a good thing considering my car is four wheel drive all the time). They did the three year huge ass checkup. Gah. It was over $500. Not cool, but it's good to know that my car is ready for the road trip.

Last night after I got back from picking up my car and after Rob got home we headed out to the Sherman Oaks mall. I needed a few things from there. I made a stop in Sephora to pick up some of that Philosophy ultra rich body wash I use and I also found an incredible pair of tweezers. I got the tweezers because all of the money from the sale goes to breast cancer research and because I needed a new pair. I'm glad I got these because they're the best tweezers I've ever owned. Then I went to Lane Bryant. I had wanted to pick up one of those cute velour sweat suits. There's a good chance I'll be having my period this weekend when we go to Knott's and I thought something comfy and cute like a sweat suit would be good to wear. I ended up finding a cute black velour one with blue stripes. Unfortunately, they didn't have any t-shirts or tank tops to go under it. I had Rob check out how it looked on me and since he said it was cute and not schlumpy, I got it. I also picked up a few sweaters for when it starts to get cold out. That was it for the shopping. I got what I came for and then Rob and I grabbed Carl's in the food court. Bad idea. Really bad idea. Neither of us really eats crappy fast food burgers anymore and now we know why. Both of us got really sick later in the night and nauseous. Rob even threw up. Ew. No more Carl's. Ever.

Since Rob hasn't posted about this (he's such a slacker when it comes to posting), I will. Apparently he had a rather weird experience on his way home from work yesterday. Some little scruffy unwashed teenage girl turned around and told him he looked gay. He showed her his wedding ring and told her he was married. She then asked "To a man?". He said he would have told her she looked dirty, if it wasn't for her really big boyfriend that looked like a gangbanger. Smart decision there. So weird (and rude). Who the hell tells random people in the subway that they look gay? Had to be some little crack whore. So, now I present this question to you, do any of you think Rob looks gay?

In other news it looks like I *might* have found a place to get my dragon tattoo done. Rob popped into the place across the street from us on his way home from work yesterday. He said they had some really neat dragon designs in their portfolios. So, I'm going to stop in there sometime soon (hopefully this weekend) and talk to them. If all goes well, I might get the dragon tattoo done there on my b-day. In that case, chances are my b-day dinner will be a bit more local. Now I need to think of something fun and not super expensive in this area. Ideas?

I'm also in a happy mood right now because there's still a chance that I might get a call from my dream job. It was a week and a half ago that I sent my resume into ABC and I was rather worried that I hadn't heard anything back from them. However, I just got the confirmation that the e-mail was read *today*. So, it looks like they're moving slowly on this. That's fine. Just keep your fingers crossed for me because I would give almost anything to get this job!

You are Masochistic.

You derive pleasure from pain. Perhaps you are self-loathing, but in any case, you'll never turn down a drop of hot candle wax.
