Rob was supposed to stay late at work earlier tonight (Wednesday). He was swamped with work and had a whole bunch to get done before the long weekend. While it sucked, I understood. I was shocked when he actually left work a half an hour early! Apparently the attorney who worked on the union contract fucked up yet another thing and until that thing gets settled there's not much Rob can get done at work. While it sucks that their attorney is a fuck up, it was a super nice surprise to have him come home early today.

Normally, I like to stay inside the night before Thanksgiving. Traffic tends to be nutty. But, we had to head out for a little bit tonight. I needed to deposit a check at the ATM that my Mom sent me - Rob's car insurance bill came and it was way more that I could afford, so my Mom sent me a check. On the way to the bank we decided to stop off at Boston Market for dinner. The line there was LONG. I think we were one of the few people to actually order dinner. Everyone else was ordering things for Thanksgiving. We waited in line and eventually got dinner. After dinner we went to the bank to deposit my check and then headed home. We spent most of the night just chilling out around the house.

Tomorrow is going to be a very un-traditional Thanksgiving. We don't see the point in cooking a whole turkey dinner for just the two of us. And our failed attempts at eating out the last few years left us eating "spurkey". And we don't have any invitations for dinner anywhere. So, we're going to Disneyland. Screw turkey, give us the Mouse! I have to get up early to drive there in the morning, so it's about time to head off of here.
